I am always ina quandry at Christmas and other major present buying times of the year. I let the event overwhelm me, worrying about who might like this or that, and did I get a simlar thing before. . etc. It has been the bane of my adult life – some people manage to swan though and just buy the first thing they see in the shops. Never caring a jot whether the recipient actually wants such a thing.
Now that I shop online for almost every thing I need, for me and others, I have learned in recent years that making a list of folk I’m buying for is critical. To this throug the year I now make notes about things they may have mentioned they’d like at some time . . . now when I browse online at my favourite site, I have a good idea where to start and with product reviews before me, it’s a doddle!
